Connect Apple Watch
Install EveryMode on both devices. Open EveryMode on iPhone once, then open it on your paired Watch. Create personal routines on iPhone to make them available on Watch. Quick Start offers Ruck, Run, Walk, and Cycle without a routine.
In EveryMode on iPhone, open Settings → Apple Watch → Refresh connection. Keep your devices nearby and use the same current app version on both. Pending Watch updates synchronize when the connection is available.
Workout audio and headphones
Connect your headphones to iPhone and enable Use iPhone headphones in EveryMode’s workout audio settings. Open EveryMode on both devices, then tap Test workout audio on Watch to check playback before a workout.
The app uses voices installed on your device. Standard voices work without an extra download. You can optionally download an Enhanced or Premium voice through iPhone accessibility settings and select it in EveryMode.
Health workouts and heart rate
Review EveryMode’s permissions in Apple Health and on Watch. Live heart rate requires a Watch workout and permission. Save phone workouts controls phone-started sessions; Watch-started sessions use the Health permissions granted on Watch.
If a save fails, review the explanation in the app. You can manage previously saved workouts in Apple Health.
Outdoor distance and routes
Allow location access for outdoor phone workouts. GPS can take time to obtain a reliable signal. Pause or end the session to stop recording.
Watch-started workouts use measurements from Apple Health on Watch. They do not currently provide an EveryMode GPS route map.
Streaks and units
Streaks count consecutive calendar days with saved workouts, ending today or yesterday. Multiple workouts on one day count as one day. Discarded workouts do not count.
The weight setting converts stored workout loads and equipment. Finish an active workout before changing units.
Data and recovery
Your workout history is stored locally. If you see a data-loading error, keep EveryMode installed, unlock iPhone, and retry. EveryMode does not provide its own cloud backup or account-based recovery.
See the privacy policy for details about storage, Apple Health, and deletion.
